2007 Washington Auto Show

2007 Washington Auto Show - Part III

Toyota, again, didn't have very many exciting cars to show. Sure they are making loads of cash, but in my opinion they don't have any good sports cars - still no MR2 or Supra like vehicles from Toyota. The Scion Tc is their Celica replacement.

The Camry (Motor Trend import car of the year) interior is high quality.

Lexus has some top luxury cars, and in my opinion significantly more luxurious than Mercedes. They also have the highest quality feel to them. Everything you touch is soft and feels top notch. Their sportiest model, however, isn't that sporty, and is, in fact, soft like the rest of the lineup. The LS model is so luxurious it's almost ridiculous.

Subaru. Still really like the performance of the STi.

The interior on the Legacy is a good step-up above the WRX/STi.

Acura has some real bargain luxury cars. When compared to similarly priced Mercedes, the Acura seems like a steal. Nice looking on the outside, and quality feeling interiors. Very good power. Only problem I have is that they are front wheel drive - but then these are luxury cars, not sports cars.

The new Honda Civic seems to appeal to a huge array of varying people. I do like the Si version.

Really like the S2000 - the car just feels like it's begging to be driven hard, and has an excellent driving position.
